What We Offer


Our mission at Unbundled Legal Services, LLC (ULS) is to provide efficient and cost effective legal services to consumers in debt, as an alternative to the generally expensive legal representation that results when consumers are sued by their creditors and retain counsel.

We are a national virtual law firm that specializes in helping consumers represent themselves (pro se) when sued by their creditors, even if represented by a debt settlement company.

We do not go to court or enter court appearances. We prepare and provide our clients, who are sued by their creditors during the debt settlement process, with responsive litigation documents and provide additional litigation advice, helping our clients to navigate through the court system.

ULS works hand in hand with our client’s debt settlement company (DSC), and ULS’s services are focused on the particular client need involved. We do not get involved in debt settlement negotiations and only provide the legal advice and documents necessary and responsive to the litigation issue at hand.

Each ULS client is represented by an attorney licensed in their state of residence and telephone calls and document intakes are handled by ULS’s call center and paralegal staff. Our clients are provided ULS’s toll-free number to enable them to make direct calls to us.

The required responsive documents (such as an Answer) are prepared by the attorney involved. ULS is not a document drafting service nor is a simple “kit” provided to the client. Every client speaks with a licensed attorney in their state, who is the same person that prepares the documents. Once prepared, the client receives the documents with a full set of instructions. In addition, our representation includes assistance and counsel on the steps and procedures the client must take to defend the case on their own.

Our unbundled representation permits our clients to choose whatever services they desire, during whatever time they chose. Up-front and expensive lump sum retainers are not required.

Payment is made by our clients directly to ULS through either a Global SPA account, credit card, check or money order.
